Cane Sugar Studio San Francisco, safer alternative to wax for body hair removal

SUGAR STUDIO

SAN FRANCISCO

Covid-19 Protocol

We've stayed current with the constant updating of information regarding what is required of us, as a salon, in order to serve you safely. We'd like to share a glimpse of what that looks like so you are prepared for your appointment.

The State Board of Barbering & Cosmetology, along with the CDC, who governs us, has posted guidelines for salons. Our plan is to go beyond what is recommended and required.

The following list will outline the guidelines, as well as inform you of what to expect upon returning to CANE. The guidelines will be refined and adjusted, so rather than sending you endless emails, we've created this menu page. Please refer to it before your appointment for up-to-date information.

Check-In

- You can let yourself in, as usual. Please use the door code provided in your appointment confirmation email and we will meet you in the waiting area.

- Only clients receiving a service will be allowed in the salon.

- Masks will be mandatory. You must wear your mask from the moment you enter until leaving. If you forget yours, it's no problem. A disposable mask will be available to you for $2.

- We can no longer serve beverages prior to your treatment. Our fridge is still stocked, but we ask that you take your drink To-Go and wait to enjoy it once you've stepped out of our doors.

- Only one small personal item/purse will be allowed to be brought inside with you.

During Appointments

- We have resumed sugaring areas of the face typically covered by your mask for vaccinated clients only. That means lip, chin, and side of face hair removal will be offered with proof of vaccination. We ask that you only remove your mask while those services are being performed. Masks stay on as much as possible.

Other Important Info Sanitation Protocol

- Each area, all tools, stations, and equipment will be sanitized and disinfected between each client. We have all individuality updated our certification on sanitation protocols via BarbicideTM and OSHA.gov

Service Duration Times

- Please be on time! While we all love the addition of parklets for outdoor dining, they have replaced many metered spaces on and around Divisadero Street. For this reason, please allow yourself some wiggle room. It's best not to schedule us into a jam-packed personal day. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we get into the flow of this new norm.

Cancellation Policy

- We will not charge for a last-minute cancellation due to being sick. But, please, let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust our schedules accordingly. After months of closure, our waiting lists will be long and time is valuable.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We thank you again for being with us and supporting us on this challenging journey. We can't wait to see, or meet you!
